Being a pastry chef in New York City is more than a profession to me—it's a heartfelt connection to my community. Growing up, the idea of same-sex marriage seemed near-impossible. Today, I'm proud to celebrate love and equality through my creations. I craft pride-themed desserts, including a special pride cookie each June (the “Gimme Gimme” Cookie) and rainbow cones that make the perfect display for any Pride event, to honor diversity, love, and progress.

Dan promised me in high school he'd one day bake my wedding cake and I am so glad that twelve years later that dream came true for the both of us.
